it's Migrants vs Apathy!! | The Deshbhakt's - RoastChallenge for CarryMinati
Who wants to shed tears seeing migrants battle for survival - trying to get home?? Even if this video does not get demonitized (which it will) / it may be pulled down - even if it survives - it will never get the views that catfights do. However The DeshBhakt family wanted this - so we did it. We cried a lot while making it and if this video upsets you - then that is a good sign - shows that there is humanity around us ..... and finally towards the end this video - there is little challenge to CarryMinati - because he is so talented & he can can really create an impact - IF he wants. BUT FIRST A LITTLE BACKGROUND FOR THOSE WHO LIVE UNDER A ROCK AND DONT KNOW ABOUT THE BIGGEST SOCIAL MEDIA BATTLE OF OUR TIMES - It all started with a squabble between creators on the TikTok platform and YouTubers.... over who is better / more original & pulling in more viewers (read money). It landed up being a full scale class war - with cuss words / allegations / homophobia and derision - that has torn the competing social media platforms into two. Not only that - there is a full blown communal angle being added by the media in this. While the nation has been witnessing the WORST internal migrant crisis in its history (on the back of an unprecedented medial and economic disaster) - YouTube has been agonising over why CarryMinati's roast video of Amir Siddiqui was taken down by the platform managers..... So for a brief moment Team Deshbhakt was in self-doubt over the whole point of making a video on migrants .... when majority of people didn't give a flying F over what was going on, when every second video on the platform was YouTube vs TikTok. Finally a quick poll in the Deshbhakt Community (with close to a lakh voters) gave us the confidence that we were doing the right thing. Feels good to have a mature / sensible audience - no matter how small. SO HERE WE ARE This video is a sorry to migrants - whom we have failed. This video is a tribute - to those brave journalists who are out there reporting the truthThis video is a wake up call - to social media brats to wake up for once and smell the rot that is brewing around us This video is meant to make us uncomfortable - because then maybe we can start feeling something Hope you like it - hope you join us on the Deshbhakt to more such hard hitting videos.
